- I have done tons of different things in my life so far. You want specifics? OK. Some are: Hospital Cook's Helper, Immigration Officer, Systems Analyst, Human Relations Consultant, Personal Trainer, Psychotherapist. NOTHING even comes close in satisfaction to being a published fiction author. Everything I've done or experienced in my life, though, is grist for the writer's mill. My characters use all that stuff to tell their stories. I listen, take dictation, and, voila, another story appears.
